Job Responsibilities(JR) : 6 8 Areas Actionable (4-6)
Drive new business opportunities for existing APIs of the bank.
Design and implement strategy and road map to drive new business opportunities for existing APIs of the bank.
Identifying business implications for each API (strategies & Priorities)
Work out new business strategy for the existing API for consumers /other teams within the bank.Developing prioritized list of existing APIs with internal/external value propositions based on,
Product impact - Operational readiness
Creating new revenue streams for the existing APIs Design and implement strategy and road map for new revenue streams for the existing APIs
Explore new revenue streams for the existing API with in the bank Eco system to ensure end users get the benefit to reach out large customer base at lower cost.
Roll out a process note for every such API along with the stake holders.
Ensure complete handholding / onboarding of the consuming party onto the platform
API access fee Fee per txn, subscription fee, onboarding fee etc.
Driving Operational Excellence for the existing APIs Work with internal product groups to define,
What API can power which is currently not being delivered New
What API can enable quicker/cheaper against current process being used Value Add.
Business framework document. Build a robust and stringent standard business agreement document agreement with the various stake holders of the existing API.
Coordinate with IT/BSG and legal teams to ensure all clauses properly covered.
Periodic Review API governance guidelines to accommodate new changes
Partner onboarding in API portal
Ensure complete process of Partner onboarding and to make those to GO-LIVE
Ideate New APIs and driving operational excellence to create new APIs Discuss the requirement jointly with respective product teams, BSG-IT and other stakeholders and undertake development of the requirements
Overlook progress of development throughout the life-cycle for on-time and bug-free delivery
Testing of the new developments for bug-testing / process gaps and take corrective action
Undertake enhancements for the various APIs to keep it relevant at all times
Basis feedback received take up enhancements on all aspects related to process, TAT
