Job Description

Supply chain and Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall supply chain, logistic strategy, supply capabilities, collaborating with customers and supplies and plan strategies. Playing a key role in as a regional supply chain manager for demand and supply planning.


Strategic Task/Responsibility

- Playing a key role as a Regional Supply Chain Manager for Demand and Supply Planning

- Conducting forecast on sales demand on a weekly level of material and managing average monthly business in general trade operations Driving Continuous Process Improvement process by managing & directing supply chain scorecard for the region

- Administering the supply chain function entailing supply planning, certification, logistic operations (inbound, warehousing, outbound), customer service (order-to-invoice, customer relationship, service strategy), master data
Building team through stronger recruitment and coaching, training programs

- Assessing overall supply chain from factory to customer focusing on regional and country logistics network infrastructure to design innovative solutions, reduce operational costs and improve delivery time by developing logistics strategy for key customers / markets based on the business model that incorporates supply chain initiatives

- Ensuing end-to-end of movement & storage of inventory, Work in progress inventory and finished goods from origin to consumption

- Coordinating with Customs Authorities for smooth import and export of shipments from and to various countries like Thailand, Singapore & France by Air & Sea submitting monthly / quarterly / annual reports to Customs authorities

- Monitoring the process between production & dispatch, encompassing preparation of the packing list, invoices, & material handover to the transporter/clearing agent

- Keeping supply systems effective through need based competent inward logistic system; establishing a strong team of dedicated contributors

- Sourcing direct and indirect spend- ingredients, packaging and capital expenditure (CAPEX); adapting a variety of external market conditions and internal business environments

- Analyzing the requirements of facility expansion, Inlay, prelam projects and providing cost, and time estimate; ordering machines, tools and equipment for new product development as well

- Monitoring vendor performance to ensure adherence to predefined specifications and supply of quality material / execution of job works Consistently evaluating

- Managing availability and delivery of right quality materials at the right time, price and terms; devising efficient logistics management system to ensure delivery of the goods / shipments as per committed timelines and costRoles and Responsibilities
